In an abbreviated program before the Bulls broadcast, Mark Grote was joined by Mark Potash of the Sun-Times to discuss the Bears' recent hirings of coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles. They also looked at who could end up on the Bears' coaching staff for the 2022 season. Grote also took calls throughout the show, including from an amped-up Rick on the South Side.
