The Canadiens have loaned Jesperi Kotkaniemi to Assat Pori of the Finnish Elite League. The Canadiens signed Tyler Toffoli to a four-year contract worth $17 million. Jake Allen and the Habs came to an agreement on a two-year contract extension with an AAV of $2.875 million. The Canadiens signed Brendan Gallagher to a six-year contract extension worth $39 million. Around the NHL: Eugene Melnyk believes the Ottawa Senators will win a Stanley Cup within four years.
