We are live streaming on our YouTube channel every Friday at 8:00pm!  This week we kick things off by checking up on each other during this crazy COVID-19 crisis.  We then preview next week's show with the announcement of the main Jedi characters from the upcoming High Republic series of books.0:04:43The Cantina (Star Wars News/General Discussion):We begin our discussion in The Cantina by raising a toast to Star Wars actor, Andrew Jack, who tragically passed away this past week from complications from COVID-19.  Jack played Major (and then General) Ematt in The Force Awakens, and The Last Jedi.  He was also a dialect coach for many of the actors.  He will be missed.We finally get to catch up with Ahsoka Tano in a recent story arc in Clone Wars Season 7.  We last saw Ahsoka when she dramatically exited the Jedi Order at the end of Season 5, and we catch up with her in the seedy underworld part of Coruscant, where we are also introduced to two sisters.As you know we are avid readers of the Star Wars novels and comics, and we each began reading a newly released Star Wars novel.  Darryl is reading Dooku: Jedi Lost, and Eric is reading the novelization of The Rise of Skywalker.  0:22:35Duel of the Fates (Face Off Questions):Ahsoka Tano vs. Rey (Skywalker)-----which Jedi would you rather have by your side?Ahsoka Tano is a seasoned Jedi, who was the apprentice of the legendary Anakin Skywalker.  Often fighting side by side with Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin, and other Jedi Masters, Ahsoka gained experience and mastery of The Force.  She is a excellent fighter, and strong in The Force, as well as wise.Rey thought she was a nobody in vast galaxy.  She was abandoned by her parents on Jakku, and gained excellent skills in hunting, melee combat, and as a scavenger.  Rey discovered she had a connection to The Force that was strong right from the beginning.  As she was trained by Luke Skywalker, and later General Leia, Rey discovered she was the Granddaughter of Emperor Palpatine, one of the most powerful of all the Sith Lords.  Rey gains more power in The Force daily, as well as growing into a great leader and teacher.Which Jedi would you rather have by your side?0:30:55From a Certain Point of View (Featured Topic):Is Kathleen Kennedy destroying The Mandalorain?It is rumored that Kathleen Kennedy wanted The Mandalorian to tie into The Rise of Skywalker by explaining how Palpatine came back into the galactic picture, as well having "Baby Yoda" be an actual reincarnation of Yoda, because The Force felt it was necessary to bring Yoda back.  Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni were not having it, and went to Bob Iger to have Kennedy banned from the set.  It's almost as good as the script for any movie we could see.  Should she still be leading the Star Wars franchise?0:55:05Clear Your Mind of Questions (Q and A):Do you think we will get a Maz Kanata book eventually?
