But the greatest of these is love. 1コリント13:13（JCB） 13いつまでも残るものが三つあります。信仰と希望と愛です。その中で最もすぐれているものは愛です。 Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. エレミヤ29:11（JCB） 11わたしは、おまえたちのために立てた計画をよく知っている。それは災いではなく祝福を与える計画で、将来と希望を約束する。 “Hopeful” Bartimaeus ”希望に満ちた”バルテマイ Mark 10:46-52 (NIV) 46 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47 When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. 51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. マルコ10:46−52（JCB） 46一行はエリコに着きました。やがてその町を出ようとすると、大ぜいの群衆がついて来ます。その時、テマイの子でバルテマイという名の盲目の物ごいが、道ばたに座っていました。 47ナザレのイエスのお通りだと聞いて、バルテマイは大声を張り上げました。「イエス様、ダビデ王の子よ！どうぞお助けを！」 48「うるさい。黙れ！」と、だれかがどなりました。それでも、バルテマイはますます声を張り上げ、「ああ、ダビデ王の子よ。お助けください」と、くり返し叫びました。 49その声を聞きつけて、イエスは立ち止まり、「あの男を連れて来なさい」と言われました。そこで、人々はその盲人に、「運のいいやつだ。おい、イエス様がお呼びだぞ」と告げました。 50バルテマイは、はおっていた上着をぱっと脱ぎ捨てると、喜び勇んでイエスのそばに飛んで来ました。 51「わたしに、どうしてほしいのですか」と、イエスがお尋ねになると、彼はもどかしげに、「先生。見えるように、見えるようになりたいんです」と答えました。 52「わかりました。さあ、もうあなたの目は治りました。あなたの信仰があなたを治したのです。」イエスがこう言われた瞬間、彼の目は見えるようになり、イエスについて行きました Hope Is Waiting on God 希望は神様を待ち望むこと Psalm 39:7 (NIV) 7 “But now, Lord, what do I look for?
