As governments around the world try to support their strained health services, companies are doing what they can to help out. The big push is to find ways to incentivise manufacturing plants to deliver ventilators, personal protection equipment (face masks, gowns and visors) and hand sanitisers. As IG's Joshua Warner says, some are doing it at cost and others without any cost to the general public. Financial details are the top priority right now, yet some companies manage to find advantages in new business models. For example, BrewDog produces free hand sanitisers for hospitals, but with the strong BrewDog branding. Josh also talks about the production of ventilators by car manufacturers, and what challenges lie ahead.
