The biggest question in Habakkuk's prayers and laments is: "Is God good, when there is so much evil in the world?". The vision of Habakkuk in this portion of scripture is God's answer to this question. God doesn't only answer the prophet, He describes to the prophet how he should live in this in-between time in chapter 2:4 and 2:20; between the promise and the fulfillment. This brings us a great deal of comfort, as we also live in between the resurrection and the redemption of all things.
