Mahogany L. Browne is a California born, Brooklyn based writer, educator, activist, mentor, and curator. We first saw her at a reading at Greenlight bookstore in Ft Greene Brooklyn and we were struck. Since then she’s held teaching and mentoring positions at the Neyourican, BRIC, BAM, Pratt, and even more positions both nationally and internationally. In short, she is a force. And if that wasn’t perfectly clear in writing, it became crystal clear in real life on our ride this spring where we talk about everything from travel, to eating, the idea of “pressure cooker” art, and finally, when enough is enough.
