She has been called a Conduit and Bridge between Races, genders, generations, and political parties because of her unique ability to paint pictures with words to promote understanding between communities. She currently serves on the Advisory Council of the American Diversity Report and enjoys helping organizations create new ways of doing business in today’s changing culture. She is also an Executive Leadership and Book Coach, and media personality. Because she lived in Asia for over four years and in Europe for twelve years, she also communicate across cultural lines and often speaks on diversity and race relations. She also served as the first Black female law enforcement officer and firefighter in Chapel Hill, NC and as the first Black Chair of the Orange County Commission for Women and was recognized by the governor for her work. While living in Europe, Dr. Gail also founded and served as the Director of the European Executive Women’s Forum, the first active European Network of the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE). In addition, she served as a training consultant for the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) European Training Division, where she specialized in Leadership, Management/Employee Relations, Customer Service Excellence and Workplace Conflict Resolution for a multi-national workforce for US Military EEO and EO programs for civilian and military personnel in the European and Korean Command.
