There are so many stories written and told about Igbo Landing. Some say that it was actually a mass suicide of Africans who refused to be enslaved. They say that some bodies were recovered and some weren't. I have heard and read so many stories of what took place on this Gullah Island, but this story really touched my soul as I read the author's rendition taking from Dark Matter: Reading the Bones.
