Tickborne diseases can be very serious and sometimes fatal, providers need to be aware of common symptoms. Because of the inherent delay in obtaining laboratory confirmation, early implementation of evidence-based treatment based on the patient’s clinical presentation is extremely important.    Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: Discuss common diseases related to tick bites. Summarize the clinical symptoms of tickborne diseases. Discuss diagnostic testing to confirm a tickborne disease. Define evidence-based treatment for tick-related diseases.   Moderator Mark J.
