His research attention has focused on the mechanical demands of resistance exercise and vertical jumping, more recently focusing on methods used to assess the force-time characteristics of vertical jumping, the calculation of power output, in addition to consideration of appropriate methods for deconstructing the vertical jump force-time curves.
