Amy Gordon (MA, LMHC) is a therapist residing in Santa Fe, NM whose primary modality is Feminist Adventure Therapy. Amy works for the Pueblo of Nambé as their lead clinician, providing administrative development as well as individual, couples, and family therapy. She moved to New Mexico from Nebraska (where she obtained a BA in Psychology at the University of Nebraska) six years ago in order to attend graduate school for Counseling at Southwestern College. Since moving to Santa Fe she has acted as the Executive Director of a non-profit that serves adults with intellectual disabilities, and she spent three years practicing therapeutic adventure and Adventure Therapy at The Mountain Center. Amy has fifteen years of experience providing case management, direct support, and training in the human services field. In addition to Amy’s professional and clinical skills, she is a person who lives with anxiety and depression. Her personal experience provides her with enhanced insight and understanding that contributes to her expertise in this area.
