Evelt Vertil is a life empowerment coach and public speaker who strives to bridge the gap between people and their greatness. Coming from a small village off of the Caribbean Island of Haiti, he often struggled with not being good enough with his own limitations, but now he is fully equipped to create new possibilities, happy to live a life of meaningful significance by helping others do the same. His journey started 22 years ago, while he was driving a shuttle bus to work at the Long Island hospital in New York. One morning, he overheard a broadcast by Les Brown on the WBLS radio station talking about coaching and public speaking. Immediately after hearing that he felt in him the very gift of which Les Brown spoke. Since then, he has invested nearly all of his time reading books in leadership and personal development.  In the words of Henry David Thoreau, “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them.” Accompanied by this quote was his greatest fear of not living up to the expectations of a meaningful life, as his life still felt disempowering despite all his accomplishments. With the help of his Master Coach, Mr. Evelt learned the art of Emotion Management, confronted his doubts in his own self through sheer confidence, became a Life Elevation Coach and the author of his own life.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/aliveradio/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/aliveradio/support
