This podcast is the introduction to what this series, "How To Build A Song" is about. I briefly explain what I will be doing and how I will be doing it. The rest of this series takes you through the entire process of composing to recording a song. It begins with getting the very first ideas of a song and explains step-by-step, with real examples, of the process of composing a song part by part, then recording that composition, and finally mastering the recording. I will be playing to the ideas I'm working together into a completed composition. This will be done by playing yo the very first ideas recorded, and then explain the process of building the completed song (the composition). Next, I will use that composition to demonstrate how a song is built into a finished recording, and finally mastered. Though this process I will explain how to start the recording process, how to use the software, and how to transform a basic composition into a completed recording, finishing with the mastering process.
