Billions of dollars have been levied in tax dollars from medical and recreational cannabis in participating states. Is America ready to take it to the next level? If there's one lesson the United States can learn from Breaking Bad is, when times get tough, sell drugs. Legalizing all drugs would permit the federal government to regulate, monitor, and most importantly tax a multibillion-dollar industry. People want entitlements, like Medicare for all. This would cost trillions of dollars and that's going to significantly raise income taxes on the working class. Billionaire Donald Trump paid less than $800 in taxes. This is because of loopholes put in place by politicians long before his time in power. Notwithstanding, the wealthy will not be contributing to your Christmas list of free things(Healthcare, Childcare, Free College, etc.). This bourdon would fall on the hard-working American people. As radical as it sounds, I would rather the US government permit and regulate the distribution of cocaine and all drugs than raise taxes on the middle class.
