Jane Smiley is a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, whose latest book, The Strays of Paris, was published in the UK in February 2021. She has published 15 novels, two short story collections, five non-fiction books and eight young adult books.Her first novel, Barn Blind, came out in 1980, while A Thousand Acres won the Pulitzer Prize in 1992. And prior to the release of The Strays of Paris, she wrote the highly-acclaimed Last 100 Years trilogy - Good Luck, Early Warning and Golden Age.Jane is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, and has also received the PEN Centre USA Lifetime Achievement Award for Literature.
