(25) The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.” (26) Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.” (28) Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, (29) “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. So he stayed for two days, (41) long enough for many more to hear his message and believe. (42) Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not just because of what you told us, but because we have heard him ourselves. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them. (ピリピ3:7-8 ALIVE) 以前は私にとって価値があると思っていたそのものは、キリストのおかげでメッキがはがれ、無価値となった。 今ではそれだけではなく、そう！王であるイエス・キリストと関係を築く最高な特権がある。それと比べれば、他のものはみな薄っぺらく見えるのだ。私はイエスのためにすべてを捨てた。全てのものが価値を生み出さなくなったのだ。そして私にとって価値があるのは、キリストのみということになった。 (Philippians 3:7-8 NLT) I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. (8) Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.
