God designed our minds to awaken our hearts. Because of this, we need to stop and see things that awaken our hearts to wonder. By putting our minds to work, we empower our hearts to stay alive and vibrant. Enjoying things takes time and attention. It's not something we can do flippantly. Joy is the resulting emotion of being loved by God that fuels life with Him so that it drives and defines everything else. We've been made by God and for God, which means we won't find meaning, purpose, and joy apart from Him.
