Justice Speaks Up Podcast

Miscellaneous

#JSU speaks with Alabama mother and #AutismWarrior, Dawn Adaleha Cullins. A respectable member of her community, attorney, and Native American ambassador whose children were abducted by Department of Social Services, along with the brute force of local law enforcement. Cullins speaks of her experience of having her door kicked in by law enforcement within hours of returning from a stay at the hospital. The illegal search and seizure of her home, vehicle and watching her children and their possessions be loaded into a police vehicle over a "anonymous call" to social services. Even as an attorney, Cullins has been fighting for years for the return of her two autistic sons, now 11 and 14, who have endured horrendous human and civil rights violations. The lies, the cover ups, and lack of justice for this family is spotlighted in this episode. Cullins has partnered with JSU as a legal advisor and advocate. She also will be contributing as a blog contributor in the areas of Native American and Autism Rights as it pertains to family court and social services.
