Authors Vaseem Khan and Abir Mukherjee take over the Crime Files Podcast to talk about their journey to publication, and how becoming published authors changed their lives. With crime writing typically being dominated by white, middle-class writers, Vaseem and Abir discuss what it means to be a British-Asian writer, and why they write about India in the ways that they do. The pair also introduce us to their new podcast, The Red Hot Chilli Writers, which will open up a window to British-Asian culture for crime readers.
