Kirk Estopinal is a Partner and Bartender of New Orleans' James Beard Foundation award-winning bar Cure and beloved Cuban inspired restaurant and bar, Cane and Table.  Prior to that, he lived in Chicago where he was an opening bartender for renowned craft cocktail spot, The Violet Hour. Estopinal left Chicago to return to New Orleans and help Neal Bodenheimer and Matt Kohnke open Cure in 2009.  Cure was named one of “America’s Best Bars” by Esquire, listed as one of the “Best Cocktail Bars in the U.S.” by Food & Wine, and hailed among New Orleans’ best cocktail bars by Forbes,  Conde Nast Traveler, USA Today, Thrillist and Coveteur.  Cure received the coveted nod for the  James Beard Foundation Awards “Outstanding Bar Program,” in 2018.  In 2013, Estopinal along with Bodenheimer and Kohnke, opened Cane & Table.
