As if this election needed any more confusion, we've got it: ballot drop-off boxes have been placed at various spots around the state of California, and they vaguely resemble the ballot drop boxes that you've probably seen popping up at several locations. One problem though: these ballot boxes are not official, they are owned by the California Republican Party and there are all kinds of legal questions--we'll go In Depth. President Trump received vitamin D as part of his treatment for the coronavirus and now there's new research showing that vitamin D may not just help defeat a COVID infection, it might help to keep one at bay. And this is not good news: new projections out today for coronavirus infections and deaths paint an awful picture for us headed into the winter. The Lakers didn't have many believers before this season began--sure, they were supposed to be good, but probably too dysfunctional to be able to win a championship. Well after a season that saw the death of Lakers legend, an interruption from a pandemic, playoffs in a bubble and a whole lot of doubters, the Lakers are once again world champions--we'll look at how they got it done. And there's one casualty of this coronavirus pandemic that you won't find on any medical records or lists: it's the death of old Los Angeles, where iconic stores, restaurants and landmarks are being forced to close for good.
