Sharing a small video of a precious moment of the learning-talim from my guru, Pt. Laxman Krishnarao Pandit. The Raga is my favourite the ever popular Raga Kedar, in which well-known composition in Teen Tala Kanha Re Nand Nandan is being rendered. I have had the great blessings since childhood to learn from my mother, Smt. Abha Pandit, who is my first guru and teacher. As a child, she started teaching me popular compositions and would also play the tabla. This particular evening is special as she also sat with us and accompanied on the tabla. The relationship between a guru and a shishya is life-long one. Leaning is an endless process through the whole life. I just wanted to share this with you. This beautiful bandish is based on Raga Kedar.
