The book centers around the protagonist Madison McKenna who is a physicist-turned-detective. She's high profile. Her style of solving crimes is of the MacGyver type. Her no-holds bar type wit is uncanny but works for her as she sets out to solve the attempted murder of her boss. Although she's top notch in her field of science she isn't street smart. She doesn't let that deter her from staying on the case and solving it. This read is one to be read over and over again. She's part MacGyver and part nerd but this leading lady is one not to be messed with in the story. It's on and popping as she sets out and get the job done. About The Author: Kennedy Quinn has a Ph.D in physics and Master's in nuclear science. She's the deputy director at the National Reconnaissance Office.
