"Don't trust the first 30 minutes of a run. Use that time just to enjoy. Break the run down in small sections. For me, it's just about staying present and not worrying about the future."Lucy Bartholomew is a professional ultra runner athlete and her achievements and wins are on too long of a list to mention. Just mentioning a few - her journey in competition began in 2013 where she came second in the 250km Big Red Run, in 2014 she claimed the World Junior Female Skyrunning Champion in France, fast forwarding to 2018 where she was the first female in a myriad of different events including the Two Bays 56km run, Tarawera 60km, Ring of fire 75km, Shotover moonrun marathon - oh and she actually set the course record for all those and more. Beyond all these accolades Lucy is a kind, genuine and happy soul.
