Making New Mistakes: Leading Through Disruption with a Minimum of Chaos Travis is an expert-generalist who works with leaders to connect dots and solve wicked problems. He has an insatiable curiosity and believes that as technology advances there are observable patterns that can guide leaders as they make decisions about innovation. Travis started flying lessons at 15, graduated Army flight school at 19, and went on to become an airline pilot. He has flown 5 different helicopters and half a dozen airplanes. He has been a management consultant working with senior Federal leaders to implement new processes and currently works as an executive at an open-source intelligence startup. Travis holds a BS, Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MS, Project Management from the George Washington University, an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University, and attended the Senior Executive Fellows Program at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education.
