EFT Unleashed

Miscellaneous

The Manchester Arena bombing had a devastating impact on the lives of those at the event and also on many other people. My guest in this show Jane Silver talks about the work she has done with survivors and also on Cognitive Psychological First Aid an approach for helping those psychologically affected in the immediate aftermath of trauma. She talks about her use of EFT and Mindfulness Based Inner RePatterning. Guest: Jane Silver Contact: Email: Jane@fact.org.uk Email: Jane@karmatherapist.co.uk About: Jane Silver is a Psychotherapist who specializes in the field of trauma, anxiety, stress and depression. Jane has been in private practice since 2009 working with both children and adults ranging between the ages of 10 and 78! A member of both the National Counselling and Hypnotherapy Societies, Jane is trained in numerous types of therapy and always adding to her evolving tool-box, keeping up with new innovative techniques from both here and abroad. Her treatments include Neuro-Psychological Education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Mindfulness Based Inner-Repatterning and Hypnotherapy. Jane is also a Life and Business Coach. More recently, she has added Cognitive Psychological First Aid (essentially CPR for the brain) to her list of tools as it's her strong belief that prevention is a niche area that must be expanded in order to build resilience in these ever changing times. Working with clients, following road traffic accidents, domestic violence incidents, grief or more recently with those involved in the Manchester Arena attack, trauma is a very specialized field and Jane feels privileged to have the skills and ability to work with individuals or groups at whatever trauma stage they find themselves whether that be immediately, weeks, months or years later. Using the correct treatment at the right time enables full functionality and enables old past memories to be fully re-programmed to become a thing of the past.
