Memorial Day 2021 to Our National Hero | Appreciation & Thanksgiving Episode With Drill Sergeant Every nation has some heroes who serve their country at the cost of their lives. Especially military men serve the country by their heart and soul.  We salute to our national heroes for their service. Our national heroes leave their families to serve the country. Virgin Islands where she went on to join the U.S. Army in 2001, as a 68M Nutrition Care Specialist. Her first duty station was in Wurzburg Germany with the 67th Combat Support Hospital as well as her first deployment to Iraq in 2003. Her next duty station was in Ft. Benning Georgia,14th Combat Support Hospital where she was also deployed to Iraq Camp Bucca. As the only 68M present she was responsible for running her dietary clinic there supporting the detainees, military, contractors, and local nationals until the TIF theater internment facility was closed. Then she moved on to Camp Cropper and Tahji to support her fellow nutritionists and dietitians. She was promoted to SGT at Camp Cropper and took over as the NCOIC Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge of her clinic. Shortly after returning home from deployment she PCSd to Alaska and again served as the NCOIC of the Nutrition Care Department. While there she was sent to Korea to participate in their yearly exercise. She was again placed as the NCOIC for that particular mission. The next duty station was Ft. Bliss, William Beaumont Medical Center, where she worked as NCOIC of the Clinic, NCOIC of Production and Service, and then finally NCOIC of the Nutrition Care Division. In 2016 the US Army decided that SSG Douglas, Kay would be a Drill SGT. She completed training at The U.S. Army Drill SGT Academy. Then she PCSd to Ft. Leonard Wood where she was a Drill SGT and Sr Drill SGT for 3 full years. Her superpower was turning civilians into Soldiers and Soldiers into outstanding NCOs. She is currently back in Ft.
