This podcast will give you statistics from the CDC which proves how a broken home increases anxiety, depression, and behavior problems in students.For these reasons, our schools are now trying to find ways to help each student. I do feel that schools are trying to get ahead of the problem. However, until we repair the home, the issues will continue to rise.Social Media’s ImpactMental Health issues with students are not just from a breakdown in the family. Social media’s impact is also responsible for the decline of students’ mental stability. For example, studies have found that a majority of students between the ages of 13-17 spend at least 3 hours a day on social media.
