In this episode, your host Paul Shearman and Darrell Taylor are continuing our brand new series called 'Get To Know...' which will feature some of the lesser known or more obscure characters across the Marvel Universe that you may well soon be meeting in a new movie, Disney+ series or comic book. This episode, we Get To Know...Taskmaster. First introduced way back in May 1980 in Avengers 195, we look at some key stories involving the master of mimicry, from his introduction through to his elevation into the upper echelons of The Cabal, and into his own limited series. We'll be reading Avengers 195 & 196 from 1980, Avengers The Initiative issues 31 - 35 from 2007, and then taking a deeper dive into his four issue Limited Series from 2010. We will also be talking about how we think this character will be portrayed in the forthcoming Black Widow movie and give you some recommended reading to check out if you're new to this character or just revisiting something you've previously read.
