Some milestones are way cuter than others: smiling, first words and steps, the first rock hard towel you pull from underneath your teenage son’s bed. Has anyone realised how so many of these baby oriented milestones end up with everything covered in poo? Has anyone else realised the similarities between toilet training a baby and toilet training a puppy? Do you think it’s socially acceptable to implement any of these puppy training strategies to a toilet training child? Asking for a friend… Reaching any kind of milestone in life is a moment to be proud of. But what happens when these milestones inevitably become yet another thing to feel mother’s guilt over, or even worse, become something we compete against each other with!?
