On this week's Mocs on the Mic with Chris Goforth presented by SmartBank, the Mocs soccer head coach Gavin McKinney and junior forward Samantha Shaw give an update on the season and preview the Mocs Tennessee match on Sunday, Sept. 12. McKinney takes a look back at the previous matches and how they help going forward. With a pair of ranked SEC foes in the rearview mirror, he talks how those matches will help the Mocs who host the No. 19 Lady Vols Sunday at the UTC Sports Complex. Shaw, with all of Chattanooga’s goals so far this season, was just named the SoCon Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Month for August. She talks teammates and looking forward to the remainder of the season. Tickets are on sale for the match this Sunday at GoMocs.com. UTC is 2-4 overall with three more non-conference games on the schedule. Southern Conference action kicks off at home against UNCG on Friday, Sept. 24.
