This week I'll be reading excerpts from Move Your Bus by Ron Clark. I'm trying to improve by management skills. The author's analogy is that it is important for an organization (the bus) to get all of its employees moving in the same direction, and moving fast. The author covers 4 types of employees -- Runners, Joggers, Walkers and Riders -- with the Driver of the bus being the manager or leader. Part 1 covers the why an organization is similar to a bus and introduces the four types of employees.
