Music On Your Own Terms 132 - Charlie PS - Ghosts, Tattoos, & Alt Rock This episode I talk to alt-rock singer-songwriter Charlie PS, from Vancouver, Canada. She talks about how her dad encouraged her love of music from a young age, coincidentally when they lived in the UK, the move to Canada, graduating music college, as well as the influences that have shaped her sound. We learn about the highs of 2019 where Charlie played a run of memorable shows and festivals, to the lows of COVID, which left Charlie uninspired and at a low point with her mental health. Charlie goes on to discuss the events that turned this low point around, to the positive outlook she has now, and her various inspirations for upcoming music and collaborations, including some with her boyfriend Johnny, himself a musician. Finally Charlie regales us with the story of how she got a tattoo of a radio station logo, to have a shot of winning a large sum of money that she hoped to put towards her music career.
