Nathan talks about his biographical book and his story of being a homeless child and the dream of one day being able to walk through the gates of the Magic Kingdom. Nathan does realize his dream but he also took his experiences with being homeless and used it to help others. In 1945, Elie Wiesel was in a Jewish concentration camp in Hungary. He saw the worst of the world while he was there. He survived Germany's War on Judaism and ended up in America as a journalist. In 1957 he visited Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth, and reviewed it. In this episode of Modern Mouse Radio Josh brings his experience at Disneyland toe the show. The stark contrast between his time at the concentration camps and at Disneyland, and how he compared the park to the Garden of Eden.
