This week on the show we discussed the upcoming bison hunt that is occurring on the north rim of Grand Canyon National Park. We discussed why they have decided to hold this "hunt" and why it is actually not being classified as a hunt because hunting is federally prohibited inside the boundaries of National Parks. We also reviewed why they are using this population control method versus relocation of individuals as used in the past. We also reviewed some of the requirements of individuals that are applying and what is expected if they are selected to participate. We then wrapped up the episode by discussing some common hunting terms we have seen or heard and what we thought they meant versus what they actually mean according to Jeff's research.
