But I think it's important to emphasize organizations really have to resist the urge to, to cut costs.” The reason is the cost of a compliance failure is so high and the regulators have said that all businesses must remain ever vigilant. The idea of cutting corners now in an attempt to reduce costs could really end up adding costs down the line in terms of fines and penalties down the road.
