The NBA has recently been the league of action, the league that, seemingly, always tries to get it right. This could range from dis-incentivizing tanking, views on player activism, to even treatment of their players (think guaranteed contracts). But the one thing they have got wrong, is tampering. They have enforced inconsistent penalties on teams for varying degrees of tampering with no structure. That is until the league announced its new policies on tampering.
