North Carolina's Clean Energy Future

Miscellaneous

This inaugural episode covers the 5th annual “Clean Energy Champions” luncheon co-hosted by Conservatives for Clean Energy-NC and Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy. The event hosted a lively panel discussion with three top legislators from NC & SC—NC Rep. Larry Strickland, NC Rep. John Szoka, and SC Sen. Tom Davis— about what’s on the horizon for energy policies in the Carolinas. Two NC Chambers of Commerce—Edenton-Chowan and Outer Banks— were recognized for their leadership in clean energy development. Three NC businesses—Ingersoll Rand, First Third Bank, and Mad Mole Brewing— were recognized for having shown exemplary strides in clean energy practices in their own business model; and two conservative NC legislators—Sen. Rick Horner and Rep. Larry Strickland— were recognized for their efforts to expand clean energy investment legislation. Hosted by Laurie Barnhart (CCE-NC) and Susan Munroe (CICE).
