Jonathan Even-Zohar is a trained historian with a broad view of history and heritage education and how civil society and political actors abuse the past for promoting both democratic and non-democratic values.  He was also the former Executive Director of EUROCLIO – European Association of History Educators, where he has been able to work with thousands of history educators across the continent and beyond to initiate, lead and deliver high-quality collaboration projects, funded by the European Union, as well as through private foundations. He is also a keynote speaker at various occasions like TedX and many more.  In this episode of Nodes of Design, Jonathan shared great insights into the role of emotions and empathy in understanding the past and how designers from the present generation can take inspiration from the past and build a great present and future. He also shared the techniques for narrating a story that connects all the dots of past, present, and future.
