Not to be served but to serve (マタイ20:24-28 JCB) ほかの十人の弟子たちは、ヤコブとヨハネがイエスにどんな願い事をしたかを聞いて、ひどく腹を立てました。(25) そこでイエスは、彼らを呼び集め、言われました。「この世の普通の人たちの間では、王は暴君であり、役人は部下にいばり散らすものです。 (26) だが、あなたがたの間では違います。リーダーになりたい者は、仕える者になりなさい。 (27) 上に立ちたいと思う者は、身を低くして仕えなければなりません。(28) メシヤのわたしでさえ、人々に仕えられるためではなく、みなに仕えるためにこの世に来たのです。そればかりか、多くの人の罪の代償として自分のいのちを与えるために来たのです。だからあなたがたも、わたしを見ならいなさい。」 (Matthew 20:24-28 NLT) When the ten other disciples heard what James and John had asked, they were indignant. (25) But Jesus called them together and said, “You know that the rulers in this world lord it over their people, and officials flaunt their authority over those under them. (26) But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, (27) and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. (Matthew 20:28 NLT) For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (ピリピ2:5-9 JCB) 私たちに対するキリスト・イエスの態度を見ならいなさい。(6) キリストは神であられるのに、神としての権利を要求したり、それに執着したりはなさいませんでした。(7)かえって、その偉大な力と栄光を捨てて奴隷の姿をとり、人間と同じになられました。(8) そればかりか、さらに自分を低くし、犯罪人と同じようになって十字架上で死なれたのです。 しかし、それゆえに、神はキリストを高く天に引き上げ、最高の名をお与えになりました。

(マタイ20:26-27 JCB)だが、あなたがたの間では違います。リーダーになりたい者は、仕える者になりなさい。 (27) 上に立ちたいと思う者は、身を低くして仕えなければなりません。
(Matthew 20:25-27 NLT) But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, (27) and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. (1ペテロ5:6 JCB)あなたがたは、神の力強い御手の下で自分を低くしていなさい。ちょうどよい時に、神はあなたがたを高く引き上げてくださるでしょう。
(1Peter 5:6 NLT) So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. あなたは誰に仕えることができる？What can we do now?
1. 仕える機会を祈り求めるPray for opportunities to serve
2. 仕える機会を見つけるFind opportunities to serve
3. 喜びをもって仕える Serve joyfully （詩篇100:2 JCB) 喜びをもって主に仕え、喜びの歌を歌いつつ、神の御前に進み出なさい。
(Psalms 100:2 NIV) Worship the Lord with gladness;come before him with joyful songs.
