In this episode, we discuss a few different approaches for when someone wants to start making dietary changes.For most people, making healthier nutritional choices is something they struggle with a lot. This is not helped by the fact that there is lots of inaccurate information online regarding diet. As coaches, one of the things we notice that people have a challenge with is the ALL or NOTHING Mindset. This is where they go all in with drastic changes then crash back to where they were pretty quickly.Jordan recommends that the best place to start is by first understanding what your baseline nutrition looks like. Once you identify what that looks like, then you can start by eliminating the most detrimental items from the diet. He suggests taking a baby step approach to avoid drastic changes so that you can remain consistent.Tatiana advises people to start where they are by first logging their food for about a week. Then, rather than worry about eliminating some foods, you should focus on adding healthier options to your diet.
