In this episode of On The Back Bar Podcast, Chris talks to Alexandre Gabriel owner and master blender of Maison Ferrand. Alexandre discovered an old Cognac home and transformed it into what is now known as Maison Ferrand, in the heart of Cognac's Grande Champagne region. Along with a small team, Alexandre turned the Cognac House into one of the most distinctive producers of artisanal spirits in today's market, resulting in an award-winning portfolio of coveted brands. Alexandre's love for creating fine spirits is unquenchable and his fruits of labor are well known and appreciated by both bartenders and fine spirit lovers alike. He has looked to the past to create spirits for the future that include: Pierre Ferrand Cognac, Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao, a traditional French Orange Curacao based on a 19th century recipe; Citadelle Gin and the Plantation Rum portfolio.  Enjoy!   Website: http://maisonferrand.com/en/   ***** Join our community on Facebook!
