Oscillation is a piece of soundscaped poetry, about the push and pull of human interaction and relationships. Oscillation was made for the RØDE Podcast Competition in early 2019. The competition had a two minute limit on how long the piece was allowed to be, which was a really fun challenge to try and create something meaningful in that short of an amount of time. There was a special prize for the first 500 entries, and I wanted to be in with a good chance for that, so I wrote and produced this whole piece in only four hours, from start to finish. And thanks to that amazing push, we actually won that prize, even if we didn't win the competition itself!
