Month four of the global pandemic and the world is realising that a new normal awaits. As countries begin to consider easing restrictions on business and social distancing, many are turning to technology to prevent a rise in second wave infections. Singapore and Australia, amongst others, have introduced new contact tracing applications to track new infections and prevent further spread of the virus. A global workforce has begin working from home, placing renewed emphasis on telecommunications infrastructure and technology platforms to reliably keep the world working and learning as the virus plays out.
