Bill Belichick giveth and Bill Belichick taketh away. In a masterclass of defensive scheming against Tom Brady and his trio of All Pro receivers, Belichick put the defense in the best possible position to succeed. Only for Belichick to flub away the game on the offensive side of the ball with cowardly decisions to punt on 4th and 2 before the half and to kick the near-impossible field goal at the end of the game instead of putting the ball in the hand of his rookie quarterback that was dealing all game.
