The 2021 NHL trade deadline is in the books. The Pittsburgh Penguins did add to their often injury-plagued squad, acquiring longtime Los Angeles Kings forward Jeff Carter, a familiar face for GM Ron Hextall. While the Penguins added a new piece to their group, so too did the other teams throughout the difficult East Division.
