The Pipeman interviews the band He Was a God. The name came from a lyric from another band’s song. The debut EP called The Smile and The Scar is out now. The vocalist wrote the song about an old friend he had in college who had a sibling that was abducted and killed. Covid put a damper on things going for them but now things are starting to roll again. The positive spin out of covid is that some of the best music is coming out sue to the amount of time be able to step back from touring and traveling. A lot of bands members have all different influences which leads to great music. This new ep blends a lot of music stylistically and influences draw from different genres.
