In Genesis 25:26 we’re told that “Isaac loved Esau because he ate of his game, but Rebekah loved Jacob.”When Isaac knew his days were numbered, he called Esau to prepare for his blessing. Rebekah overheard and panicked. She couldn’t let that happen. She gave Jacob instruction and assisted him in deceiving his father. And they succeeded.
