In this special pandemic-focused episode, Samantha talks about the effects of distance learning on her kids, whose grade levels span from 3rd grade to 11th grade. She shares her strategy for navigating their lack of motivation around schoolwork and how she keeps things fun and interesting. She also talks about keeping an eye on her kids’ mental health and the ways she takes care of herself as well. Having experienced some big shifts in her employment status when her places of work had to close 2 months ago, Sam has taken to getting creative with how she is bringing in income.
